Dear guests,
About four years ago, the OSCAR opened in the Remise – unique, exclusive, one of the most beautiful restaurants beyond regional borders.
Together with you and our team, we have experienced the most beautiful moments here in the former government quarter, spent great evenings and were able to create an incredible atmosphere.
Despite the successful and wonderful time, we have already decided in the fall of 2020 in the course of lease negotiations to look for and acquire a suitable property, which is managed in ownership. Our goal was to be able to welcome you here in the future and to be able to realize ourselves far away from disproportionate rent ideas and immense maintenance costs still economically.
So now we are moving on: the VILLA OSCAR will become one of our new locations.
We are looking forward to welcoming you again next fall after the extensive renovation work in our own dreamlike property, which is only a 10-minute drive away from the Remise in the middle of the nature reserve, on a property of approx. 13,000 square meters. In the VILLA OSCAR you can expect not only beautiful ambience and upscale cuisine, but also comfortable hotel rooms and 40 own parking spaces.
In short: We would like to thank our numerous employees for four successful years, as well as all our guests who have made the OSCAR in the Remise what it is and has been. We would like to thank all those involved who have supported us so well in the background, supplied us and ensured that business ran smoothly.
We would like to thank our landlord Mr. Asbeck and his staff* for giving us the opportunity and making the Remise a success after years of inefficiency before OSCAR and now paving the way for the next tenant.
We can hardly wait to see you again in our other OSCAR restaurants and in the new restaurant and hotel concept VILLA OSCAR and to experience further unforgettable moments with you.

The „Remise in Bonn“ was renamed and is now carrying the proud name of „OSCAR in der Remise“. Baptized by non other than the OSCAR im APROPOS – one of the most sophisticated Restaurants in Cologne – based on/in the infamous Mittelstraße. The Locations main focus lies on high end food and an unmistakable ambiance, in the heart of Bonns former government district. The menu contains traditional dishes as well as an ultra modern crossover cuisine – Meat lovers, you wont miss out. The lovingly & hand picked art objects as well as our unique interior design invites you to linger and feel good. Our generous patio is perfect for warm summer evenings. Take a seat under our lovingly maintained plane trees. OSCAR in der Remise offers you different spaces, each one individually designed.
